Indonesia ended its brutal military occupation of East Timor in 1999 but continues in West Papua today.
Therefore, as a people, a nation, and a country of West Papua we argue that a United Nations peace-keeping force must be sent to West Papua, with or without Indonesia’s permission, to bring an end to the abuses and ending human rights abuses.
The UN Security council needs to pass a resolution to end the Indonesia occupation.
