Coming Peace 22nd February, Rally for Ongoing Free West Papua Political Prisoners will be held in Sydney
On 17th January 2011, we had a successful demonstration outside the Indonesian Embassy and in the presence of the Australian Federal Police. Herman Wainggai, a former political prisoner, organiser and a long-time activist declared officially that 2011 will be the year of Free West Papua Political Prisoners Campaign.
There will be demonstrations on the second week of each month, which is on Friday outside the Indonesian Embassy in... Canberra, 8 Darwin Avenue Yarralumla ACT 2600 starting at 11:00am to 13:00pm.
However, this up and coming peace rally for ongoing Free West Papua Political Prisoners will be held in Sydney outside the Indonesian Consulate on 22nd February 2011, which will also coincide with the West Papua event that will be hosted by the Australia West Papua Association in Sydney.
